Our Process

Step One: Intake Form

Completing our brief intake form will allow us to know a little about you before we meet and thus make the meeting more personal to your situation. You can email, fax, or drop off the completed form to us.

Step Two: Initial Consultation

This meeting is a chance for you to meet with us and discuss your concerns as well as your goals and objectives and make sure Hallock & Hallock is the right fit for you.

Step Three: Create the Succession Plan

Creation of the Succession Plan usually occurs of a period of several weeks and months. There will be multiple meetings with family members, both those working in the business and those that do not, as we work through the Four Phases of Family Business Succession Planning.

Step Four: Drafting Documents

After we have worked with you to design your plan succession plan, the next step is to draft the documents, legal and otherwise, that will be ensure the success of your succession plan.

Step Five: Implement the Plan

Once the succession plan and supporting documents are in place, the work is not done. The plan must be implemented. We will continue to work with you through ultimate transition of your family business to the next generation.
